2010 Pet Idol Fashion Show

On November 5, the Humane Society held its 4th annual Pet Idol Fashion show with everything from dogs small to large, kittens and cats, and even a dwarf hamster taking to the runway! The event was held at the Fogolar Furlan Club this year and we cannot express enough thanks to the management and staff at the Club for the amazing service they provided and how much they went out of their way to ensure this year's show was successful.

Thank you to Zellers, Linda's Fashions & Accessories, and Moores Clothing for Men for outfitting our celebrity models; to For Your Fur Kids for handling the task of dressing the animals; to Angie & Kevin Chauvin from Angie Chauvin Photography for catching the action on film; to Designs by Diane for providing the table centerpieces; to Mitch O'Connor and Kim Scott from Mix 96.7 FM for hosting the event; to PartyMix Entertainment DJ Services for donating their services and the great "tunes;" to all of our Pet Idol contestants and their parents for showcasing their animals; to our celebrity models for participating with their own or with some of our available animals; to the Franzoi Family for presenting us with our beautiful new "Paw"casso pet painting; to the Fogolar Furlan Club and their amazing staff for helping us put together a great event with outstanding food; to the Pet Idol Planning Committee; and, last but not least, to the many volunteers who provided baked goods for our pastry table, or helped with registration, our sales table or keeping the animals company while they awaited their turn on the catwalk - we can never pull these events off without all of your continued support.
